Christine Charlton - Administrator

Christine has lived in Sunderland since she was 10 years old, and before that spoke 'cockney'. But she's better now. She has worked in Sunderland's voluntary and community sector since 1987 with various job titles - Administrator, Finance Officer, Funding Advice Officer - and uses knowledge and experience gained in her role as Administrator to the forum. She enjoys opera and the occasional glass of red wine.

Dawn Osborne - Development Officer

Dawn started as Development officer in October 2004. She had worked previously as a Development officer for a youth network in Salford. She has worked for a number of years in the voluntary youth sector. Her special areas of interest in youth work are single gender work and detached work. As development officer she is responsible for developing new areas of work for the forum, identifying the relevant support needs of the forum members and representing SVSYF at a number of agency forums. Part of her job will also be to work as part of the Sunderland BEST Team. She likes motorbikes, travelling and country & western music!

Steve Barna - Development Manager

Steve has extensive experience of working in the voluntary sector. He has been involved in the development of a number of youth work initiatives based within local communities. He currently Chairs the Connexions Service LMC and represents Forum members on a range of strategic groups across the city. He enjoys reading, the occasional motorcycle jaunt and holidays in the sun.
